Ayana Jade was pleased to showcase and speak at the Sustainable Discovery event in Chelsea, a setting known for its premium boutiques, creative businesses and strong connection to design, culture and the arts.

Presented as “In conversation with Linda Achan”, the event created space for two important audiences to meet in one room: people drawn to jewellery with depth, character and provenance, and those interested in how sustainability, materials and product decisions translate into commercial trust.

As guests explored the collection, the conversation centred on a question that matters across sectors: how do values become something people can recognise, understand and trust?

For Ayana Jade, the answer lies in choices that are both considered and visible. Our pieces are designed and made in the UK using jadeite (fei cui) jade with provenance and recycled precious metals, then hallmarked in the UK. Just as important is the language around them. In a market where claims can easily become vague, clarity matters.

That same principle extends beyond jewellery. It shapes our Education & Advisory work, where we help organisations strengthen capability in circular design, materials strategy, proof-led sustainability and claims integrity. One side of the business shows the application in practice. The other helps make that capability transferable.

In Chelsea, that connection felt especially relevant. The audience included jewellery buyers as well as people interested in product, brand and responsible innovation. It was clear that desirability and credibility do not sit in opposition. When materials, provenance and design are approached with care, they strengthen one another.
