Ayana Jade at the Global Innovation Forum: Life is a Prototype
Ayana Jade had the opportunity to showcase our work at
the Global Innovation Forum (GIF), London, a gathering of leading innovators
and thinkers from around the world. The theme of the 2024 forum,
"Life is a Prototype: Innovation and Sustainability," perfectly encapsulated
Ayana Jade's core values and approach to business. Creating durable,
timeless pieces that are meant to be cherished for generations, rather than contributing to the fast-fashion cycle.
The event brought together a diverse range of attendees, including representatives from major companies like Google, IKEA, Microsoft, Netflix,
Meta, Cambridge University, and Nestle. Being among such esteemed organisations provided a fantastic platform to share our vision of sustainable luxury and responsible innovation within the jewellery and manufacturing
industry.
The forum's focus on "Life is a Prototype" resonated with our approach. We believe in continuous testing, iteration, and embracing failure
as a necessary part of the innovation process. This aligns with our design practice, where we often create prototypes, test their durability and appeal,
and adjust our designs based on feedback.
At GIF we showed how this approach reduces waste, strengthens
provenance and builds trust. Stakeholders told us they want the same clarity
in their own organisations. Teams need repeatable methods to move from
intent to evidence, from slide decks to products that stand up to investor,
regulator and customer review.
If you lead design, operations or sustainability, we can help you implement
ESG by design inside your workflow. Our executive courses and sprints turn
ideas into measurable outcomes with simple toolkits. You leave with a short
list of material topics, a KPI and an evidence architecture and a dashboard
your board can read fast.
