Join Ayana Jade’s collaborative workshop with National Trust Property 575 Wandsworth Road, the home of Kenyan-born poet Khadambi Asalache who transformed it into a work of art with hand-carved decorations from recycled wood.
What to expect:
The soiree will start with a guided tour by The National Trust exploring his handcrafted fretwork design which blends influences including Kenyan, Moorish and Ottoman architecture.
After the tour, Ayana will host a relaxed evening gathering around the dining table, discussing adornment and heritage. You will learn about jade and create your own bespoke sterling silver bracelet inspired by the house to take away.
